Get Out! Popup Drive-In featuring great comedy, live music and feature films!

Toronto Shines presents the best in live entertainment and current and classic films in a safe and family friendly setting at the water’s edge of Ontario Place.

Weekly programming includes comedy, music, movies and special events ranging from up and coming stars to familiar names,  independent films to classic blockbusters.


Special events that only a landmark like Ontario Place can accommodate will take place in a unique location within a customized built five acre outdoor facility.

Check out the 60′ screen where safely distanced cars can enjoy an evening of top level entertainment.

Tickets will be available online only and must be purchased in advance. Dates will be posted as we schedule events through to October 31st.

Food truck selections will be delivered right to your car. No touch online payment by credit card.

RULES:

Rain or shine event. No refunds or re-entry.

Entry for Toronto Shines:
• Lakeshore Blvd. To Remembrance Drive (New Brunswick Way)
• South on Remembrance Drive/New Brunswick Way
• Follow East on Remembrance Drive
• Turn South on Ontario Place Blvd. Towards Echo Beach

  • TIMING:
    Gates open at 7:00 p.m.
    No entry after 9:15 p.m.
    Live Comedy & Music starts at 8:00 p.m.
    Film will start just after 9:00 p.m.
  • Don’t have a vehicle – see below
  • No pets allowed.
  • Stay in your vehicle unless using washroom facilities.
  • Please use your emergency brake so that your lights do not go on while your car is running.
  • Vehicles will be safely distanced.
  • You cannot move to a different spot even if a vehicle ahead of you leaves.
  • You can not sit outside or on top of your vehicle.
  • No lawn chairs, tents or blankets allowed.
  • You are asked to wear a mask outside of your vehicle (washroom visits).
  • Masks will be available on site.
  • Parking spaces are not reserved.
  • To park in a space next to family or friends you must meet up ahead of time and drive in together.
  • Smoking is allowed within your car only – not the Roy Foss Trucks – please do not litter.
  • Sound will be broadcast through a local FM station SHINE 89.9
  • It is okay to run your car for a bit to keep your battery charged as required.
  • We will be able to offer you a battery boost on site at no charge.
  • Regular sized vehicles only, no large trucks or motorcycles.
  • Trunks and hatchbacks must not block other cars views.
  • Must enter by designated time 9:15 p.m.
  • Exits are final – you will not be blocked in by other cars.
  • You can bring an umbrella for washroom visits only.
  • Food truck selections will be delivered to your vehicle – must be ordered by online app only. Accepted payments in the following forms; Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Interac Visa only.
  • Do not bring alcohol.
  • We are not serving any alcohol.
